The mission of the LeDoux Library is to provide informational resources to students and faculty while recognizing the varying levels of information literacy and the various information access methods of students from different locations. An overriding goal and theme is to teach information literacy skills and to encourage self-sufficiency in locating, critically evaluating, and utilizing the library's materials to become life-long learners.
Basic research and information tutorials can be found here with the Research Guides & Library Resources.
Gear to Geaux
The LSUE LeDoux Library offers mobile computing devices for students to check-out. Any equipment not returned will be charged to your fee bill. You must be an LSUE STUDENT with a student ID to be eligible for Gear to Geaux. You can request in person to be put on a waiting list for equipment and the Library will contact you if one becomes available. Your request does not carry over to the next day, nor will you be contacted if a laptop becomes available less than 2 hours before the Library closes.
