KLFY's Layne Miller To Give LSUE Dual Enrollment and Academy Commencement Speech

KLFY Layne MillerEUNICE, La. – LSU Eunice is proud to announce Eunice native and former LSUE Dual Enrollment student Layne Miller will give the keynote speech at the LSUE Dual Enrollment and Academy Commencement Ceremony on Friday, May 15 at 10:00AM inside the HPRE Center on the LSU Eunice campus.  The ceremony will highlight high school students that have earned an associate’s degree or certificate while completing coursework as part of the LSUE Dual Enrollment and Academy programs.

Miller is a news anchor at KLFY-TV in Lafayette, Louisiana for its Passe Patout morning show.  The Eunice native began her broadcasting career at KLFY-TV after graduating from LSU in 2024.

As a college student, Miller was active in broadcast and media, serving as a production intern at Louisiana Public Broadcasting, a newspaper contributor for the Community Chronicles, and a reporter for student media Tiger TV.  She also had the honor of serving as queen of the Scott Boudin Festival.

A proud Eunice native and Eunice High School alum, Miller began her collegiate studies at LSU Eunice as part of the dual enrollment program.
