LSUE Respiratory Care Students Shine At State Convention

EUNICE, La. – LSU Eunice students in the Respiratory Care program shined at the Louisiana Society for Respiratory Care’s (LSRC) 53rd Annual Educational Meeting and Exhibits. The recent conference in Baton Rouge features learning opportunities for both professionals and students in respiratory care.
LSUE students once again excelled in the awards portion of the conference with two student teams taking home research awards:
- 2nd Place: Hunter Miller and Dylan Wilson for their project, “The Smart Inhaler.”
- 3rd Place: Chloe Colwart and Cathryn Broussard for their project, “mRESVIA Vaccine for RSV in the Adult Patient.”
Both teams received cash prizes for their achievements.
In addition, LSU Eunice earned 1st Place in the video competition and was awarded the Spirit Award for the second consecutive year—highlighting the group’s leadership, energy, and outstanding volunteer support throughout the conference.
