LSU Eunice Honors Staff and Faculty At Annual Excellence Dinner

EUNICE, La. - LSU Eunice celebrated its dedicated faculty and staff at the annual Faculty and Staff Excellence Dinner on May 5, recognizing years of service, professional achievement, and retirements during a dinner reception inside the Dr. Anthony Mumphrey Center.
The university honored employees with milestone Years of Service Awards, acknowledging their dedication to the LSUE community:

Meghan Collins, Kerry Fontenot, Joshua Bertrand - 10 Years of Service
April Fontenot, Courtney Fruge, Braneshea Moore, Joan Vidrine - 20 Years of Service
Michael Alleman, Barbara Batiste, Paul Fowler, JR Guillory, Donnie Thibodeaux - 25 Years of Service
Domingo Jariel, Kathleen Warner - 30 Years of Service
Anthony Attole, Melonie Ceaser, Doug Narby - 35 Years of Service

Additional recognitions included faculty promotions, with Nikki May promoted to Associate Professor with tenure. Dr. Brandon Borill received the Teaching Excellence Award, and Advising Excellence Awards were presented to Alisha Fontenot (Staff Advisor) and Dr. Michael Alleman (Faculty Advisor). Staff excellence honorees were Michelle Richard (Classified Staff) and Catlyn Lauret (Professional Staff).
LSUE also honored recent retirees JR Guillory, Anthony Attole, Shelley Papillion, Debbie Seilhan, and Sandra King.
With generous support from Basile State Bank, Acadian Medical Center, Mercy Regional, the Florence Mauboules Trust, and the LSUE Foundation, the event was a moving tribute to the people who continue to shape the university’s success.
