September 05, 2024
UPDATE - SEPTEMBER 9
The upcoming Agriculture Symposium presented by LSU Eunice on Friday, September 13 has been postponed, school officials announced on Monday. No new date has been set for the symposium.
The postponement is to allow expected clean up in the greater south Louisiana area with minimal traffic, while also taking into consideration the numerous travelers from throughout the state expected to attend.
EUNICE, La. – Louisiana State University at Eunice will host local and state leaders in the field of agriculture for a free symposium on Friday, September 13. The day of speakers, demonstrations and presentations will begin at 10:00AM.
The symposium will focus on agriculture innovation, technologies, and research. LSU Vice President of Agriculture & Dean Matthew Lee kicks off the event at 10:00AM inside the LSUE Health Technology Auditorium.
Also included in the day’s agenda are demonstration tables from a wide range of industry professionals. A panel discussion with a question-and-answer session caps the day’s schedule. A complimentary lunch is included.
Agriculture professionals and students interested in the field are encouraged to attend.
