Starting in Summer 2022, faculty and staff Moodle/myCourses users will have access
to the LSU Faculty Technology Center (FTC). The FTC provides individualized Moodle
support through ticketing, virtual consultations, and training opportunities. LSUE
faculty and staff will now be able to submit support tickets for troubleshooting Moodle
questions and issues regarding teaching tools, settings, and course functionality.
This also includes questions around popular features used with Moodle/myCourses such
as Panopto and TurnItIn.
New Moodle/myCourses Features
In an effort to provide the most effective teaching and learning experience in Moodle/myCourses,
several updates have been made to the LSUE Moodle site, including multiple exciting
new teaching tools. In the coming weeks, information will be sent out regarding FTC
training opportunities to introduce these new Moodle tools. Some of these new tools
include:
- Ally
- Publisher tools
- Gradescope
- Etc.
If you have any questions for the FTC, please do not hesitate to reach out.
