Louisiana State University Eunice is proud to announce that Deidre Deculus Robert will serve as the Spring 2024 Commencement Speaker. This year, LSUE will have two separate graduation ceremonies - a 10:00am program for LSUE Academy students and a 2:00PM event for all other graduates. Both ceremonies will be held in the HPRE Center on campus.

The LSUE Nursing School is a nominee for Undergraduate Nursing School of the Year, while the LSUE staff has four representatives for Nursing Educator of the Year - Barbara Batiste, Marlene Foreman, Braneshea Moore and Dr. Jill Perrin. Dr. Perrin is also a nominee for Registered Nurse of the Year.

The LSU Eunice Fire and Emergency Services program has received The Fire and Emergency Services Higher Education (FESHE) Recognition, it was recently announced by the United States Fire Administration.

Louisiana State University Eunice is set to be the recipient of $3.25 million in federal funding earmarked for the upcoming STEAM Innovation Center on campus, it was recently announced. LSUE's funding is part of more than $40 million secured by Congressman Clay Higgins for Louisiana's 3rd district.

LSU Eunice is proud to announce that Courtney Fruge has been elevated to serve as Human Resources Manager. Fruge is a familiar face on campus, having worked on the Cajun Prairie for a decade, starting in 2014.
