What is a master class?

A master class is a class focused on a particular discipline by an expert in the field. This will be a one-day, six-hour workshop for LSU Eunice students only who apply and are selected to participate.

What is Esports?

Esports is a multi-billion-dollar industry focused around organized multiplayer video game competitions between professional and/or collegiate players and teams. Esports video game competitions include League of Legends, Call of Duty, Fortnite, NBA 2K, and many, many more.

What will I get out of this master class?

A lot! The Esports Master Class will consist of a six-hour workshop that will focus on the history, ecosystem, trends, career paths and cultural impact of the NBA 2K League. This event is reserved for (20) students. Students will compete for a VIP NBA 2K day long experience at their Corporate Headquarters in NYC the last week in April.  This is a tremendous opportunity for students of all majors and all career paths to have an experience of a lifetime learning about the history, trends, career paths, and cultural impacts of the growing Esports industry.
