EUNICE, La. – LSU Eunice will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a luncheon planned for Wednesday, October 19 in the Dr. Anthony Mumphrey Center. The free event is sponsored by the LSUE Campus Activities Board in collaboration with the LSUE Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.
The celebration will begin at 11:30AM and including several local guest speakers from the Hispanic community. Local business owners Dr. John Gonzalez and Daniel de la Nuez will be joined by LSUE students in the discussion.
LSUE will also award an inaugural leadership award among the Hispanic community.
A Hispanic-themed lunch will be provided for event attendees.
