Library Offers Free NY Times

LSU Eunice faculty, students, and staff can now access The New York Times Digital Edition through an academic site license provided by the Arnold LeDoux Library. LSU Eunice users can now have full access to and the smartphone apps.

Access is via an "Academic Pass" found at . Once you register on the site with your '" or '' email address, you can access the NYTimes Digital Edition from any network and any ISP worldwide.

The Pass includes access to The New York Times via the NYTimes smartphone apps. There are mobile apps for iPhone/iPod Touch (IOS 5.0�), Android (OS 2.1�), and Windows (7.5 O.S.) phones. Mobile apps for tablets are NOT part of the Academic Pass. However, you can access the mobile site ( using your smartphone or tablet running one of the above operating systems.

The Pass provides searchable access to articles, videos, blogs, features, interviews, obituaries, and columns, as well as access to the historical coverage as far back as 1851.

Go to .Enter your LSU Eunice email address.Create a new password.There is an option to sign up for free newsletters.NYT will send an email validation. Access site from link sent in their email.Download their mobile app and log in using the account information you just entered.
