Student Support Services - Academic Advising
Academic Coaches are available, by appointment, to assist students in adjusting to college life, exploring educational options, or making career decisions.
Several assessments are available for those students who want to find out more about themselves. You can explore your career interests and learn more about yourself.
Workshops are conducted each semester and are aimed at helping to improve academic success. Topics include study skills, test-taking tips, and math anxiety.
Peer Helpers, under the supervision of Academic Coaches, assist students in many ways. Peer helpers can give you information about the campus, based on their own experiences. They can help you improve your study skills and make the most of your college experience. Staff members can assist you in applying for financial aid assistance.
If you need help completing your FASFA form, an Academic Coach can assist you.
