October 29 • 6:30 PM • Health Technology Auditorium "Los Gringos Calentanos" Straight from the Black Pot Festival, Tina Pilione, on guitar, and Paul Anastasio on fiddle, visit LSU Eunice and perform from their CD the beautiful music from an isolated region of Mexico known as Tierra Caliente. The music is a blend of the many music forms including the foxtrot, waltz, Peruvian ballads, and marches. Free to LSU Eunice students • $4.00 general audiences • $3.00 children

November 2 • NOON • Acadian Center - Room 127 Ken Waldman • Poet Ken will visit various English classes during the day and have a performance/seminar at noon in the Acadian Center. Employing both his fiddle and repertoire of proven writing exercises, Ken will present his experiences about writing and publishing as well as showcasing his original music, stories, and poetry. Special guest performer, Rosalind Gnatt on Banjo.
