Community Day is April 17 LSU Eunice Community Day 2010 will be held 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 17, on the LSU Eunice campus featuring games, contests, exhibits, live entertainment and many other activities. All events are free to the public. Children's activities planned for the day will include inflatable jumps and slides as well as games organized by LSU Eunice students, juggling lessons and face painting. Teenagers can enter a video game competition. Performance during the day will showcase participants in the Campus Activities board Talent Show and belly dance performances. The LSU Eunice Library will wrap up The Big Read with a special lecture by graphic artist Tim Hamilton who recently completed and published the authorized edition of Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451. Arts and crafts and food items will be sold. Music will be provided by DJ and Company with Jeffery Naquin. More information is available from the Office of Student Activities, (337) 550-1395.
