Library's Big Read Kicks Off March 3.
The Big Read is a program of the National Endowment for the Arts, designed to restore reading to the center of American culture.
LSU Eunice's Big Read program centers around Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451. Copies of the book are available for free at the library circulation desk. Events kick off on March 3 at noon with a keynote address from Louisiana children's book author Berthe Amoss in the Louisiana Room.

The NEA presents The Big Read in partnership with the Institute of Museum and Library Services and in cooperation with Arts Midwest. The Big Read brings together partners across the country to encourage reading for pleasure and enlightenment.
