Study Abroad in Canada Registration Begins

The LSU Eunice Study Abroad program is now registering students for a four-week summer French Immersion program in Montreal, Quebec. The French Summer Program 2012 is an intensive language and culture program directed by Dr. Olivier Châtelain de Pronville and the Division of Liberal Arts at Louisiana State University Eunice and organized by Global Study Abroad.

An information Meeting will be held Wednesday, March 7th at 3 p.m. in Manuel Hall room 108.

The program provides students the opportunity to live and study in Quebec for four weeks to develop French language skills and experience a rich and different cultural environment. Students earn four credit hours from LSU Eunice for FRENCH 2300 language course.

Students will attend three hours of class every morning, take an exam every Friday and complete a comprehensive final exam at the end of the course. In the afternoon student will work on assignments at locations throughout Montreal, including Oratoire St. Joseph, Museums, and the Botanical Garden.

The program is open to all registered students of LSU Eunice and to students in good standing from other universities or colleges who register at LSU Eunice for the summer session. Space is limited so students are encouraged to register early.
