Orientation and EZ-REG Registration for New Students for the
Fall Semester will be July 25, July 26, August 8 and August 9 for LSUE. LSUE Cenla (LCRP) will hold orientation and
EZ-REG for the Fall on August 7 and August 18, while LSUE Cenla
(LSUA) will be August 12 and August 22.
Apply for admission now and then sign up for orientation. You should plan to attend orientation on the earliest possible date.
Early registration is under way. If you are a continuing student, you can enroll in classes online at any time via myLSUE after you are cleared to register by your faculty advisor.
If you are a new student planning to attend LSUE, you should begin by
completing an application.
ORIENTATION INFORMATION
Sign up online for orientation. Attending orientation is now
mandatory for all new students. The orientation session will equip you with the
information, facts, and advice that you need to make the right
decisions about your college plans. Once you complete orientation,
you can meet with your faculty advisor to go over your specific
plans for scheduling classes. Then, you can register via the
Internet-based myLSUE computer system. For the the most recent class
information,
check out the course schedules
posted on-line.
MENINGITIS INFORMATION
Louisiana law requires all students entering any university for the
first time, any students living on campus, and any transfer students
to be immunized against meningitis unless a waiver is signed.
Meningitis is a fatal bacterial infection. When it strikes, its
flu-like symptoms make diagnosis difficult. If not treated early,
it can lead to swelling of the fluid surrounding the brain and
spinal column as well as severe and permanent disabilities, such as
hearing loss, brain damage, seizures, limb amputation, and even
death. If you are a first time student, a transfer student, or
a student living on campus, please (1) submit proof of inoculation
for meningitis or (2) provide a signed waiver. If you are under
the age of 18, your parent or guardian must sign the waiver also.
This process must be completed before you are eligible to register
for classes. Please send the appropriate documents as soon as
possible to the Office of Student Affairs (Room 112, Acadian
Center), LSU at Eunice, P.O. Box 1129, Eunice, LA 70535 so that you
can enroll for classes this semester.
