Bengal Hall of Fame Gala

1/6/2017

EUNICE -- Bill “Spaceman” Lee will be the guest speaker at the LSU Eunice Athletic Department’s Hall of Fame Gala on Saturday, January 21 at 6:45 p.m.

Lee played for the Boston Red Sox and the Montreal Expos.  He was inducted into the Red Sox Hall of Fame as the team record-holder for most games pitched by a left-hander.  Lee is the subject of the film “Spaceman” released in 2016 staring Josh Duhamel.

Lee is also the father of LSU Eunice softball coach, Andy Lee.

The banquet will also honor the 2016 National Championship Softball team.  LSUE will present the girls with their national championship rings.

Following the ring presentation and Lee talk, there will be a dance featuring entertainment by Todd Ortego.

There will also be a live and silent auction during the gala.  All proceeds go to the support of Bengal athletics.

Tickets will be $50 a person or a table for $500, which guarantees a place to sit for the event.

For tickets call, please call the LSU Eunice athletics office at 550-1417.
