LSUE Offers Sign Language Class

Signing with Song


EUNICE -- LSU Eunice Continuing Education is offering a new Leisure Learning Course. Signing with Song will be an 8-week course that will use song to help introduce students to sign language. The class will meet on Fridays in the Community Education Building on the campus of LSU Eunice.

The class begins September 9 and ends on November 4. Each class will start at 5 pm and last until 6:30 pm.

Signing with Song will is open to anyone, and no experience or textbook is required. Clarabella McNulty is the course instructor. Registration for the course is $45 for the general public and $40 for OLLI Members. The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the LSU Eunice is an adult learning membership program designed for men and women age 50 and "better" who wish to pursue lifelong learning in a relaxed non-competitive atmosphere.
