Tuition

Before you decide to attend a particular college, you need to know how much the college charges in tuition. Tuition is the amount of money you pay the college each semester you attend.

Starting with the Fall 2009 semester, LSU Eunice tuition will be $96.00 per credit up to a maximum of $1,170 for 21 credit hours. There have been no increases in tuition or fees for the Spring 2010 semester.

Students who are not residents of Louisiana pay $128.75 per credit hour.

LSU Eunice's tuition compares very favorably with the fees charged by four-year universities in the region. You have the benefit of attending an institution with a nationally recognized name while paying comparatively modest fees.

If you plan to attend college away from home, you need to find out the cost of a dormitory room or an apartment and also estimate the cost of meals. In addition, do not forget the cost of incidental items—laundry, telephone, household supplies—that can add to the cost of living away from home. By attending LSU Eunice and living at home, you save on all of these expenses.

However,  LSUE students also have the option of living on campus in the Bengal Village student apartment complex. Additional information is available at the Bengal Village web site.

Remember that you will need to buy your own books. This cost will probably average between $150 and $300 each semester. In addition, you need to estimate the cost of transportation to college. Many LSU Eunice students are able to reduce this cost by carpooling.

You also, of course, should consider what you will be getting in return for your tuition. LSU Eunice offers high quality instruction, excellent facilities, experienced, dedicated faculty, and a safe, supportive learning environment.
