The overarching purpose of Baptist Collegiate Ministry is to know Christ and to make Him known. We offer a variety of activities throughout the year to help us achieve that purpose. A few of the specific events that we participate in are retreats, conferences, mission trips, and outreach activities on campus, which provide opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship and a whole lot of fun.

Our main weekly event is a free meal every Monday at noon. It is open to all students, faculty, and staff, regardless of religious preference. A guest speaker will provide an inspirational devotional message during this Monday lunch time.

The BCM has a building on LSUE campus located across Center Street from Manuel Hall. It is open during the day so that students can drop by between classes for a quiet place to study or to visit with friends. We now have WIFI access for those with notebook computers to study online.

The BCM has a Leadership Team for those students who are interested in helping the BCM fulfill its purpose on campus and in the community.
