Veillée: Jean-Jacques Aucoin, David Greely, Marce Lacouture, Kristi
Guillory
Veillée performs songs without instruments, the way they were sung
at family gatherings long ago. Marce Lacouture is shown at left raising a bottle to the
words "en voilà"--"here's one"--the point in the song
"L'Oranger" when everyone in audience participated by raising a drink. Marce Lacoutoure recorded that song and several other songs performed by
Veillée on her CD La Joie Cadienne. |
