On Tuesday night, Geno Delafose and French Rockin' Boogie played for three straight hours. Geno is shown at left while singing D.L. Menard's "Porte d'en arrière." Geno played a mix of Cajun, Creole, Zydeco, and rock 'n' roll numbers that kept the wooden dance floor full. One of the bottom photos shows the dancers in their version of the Zydeco freeze. It was the first time Geno played in the Ville Platte area, and a large contingent of local residents were on hand to see him perform for the first time.
