The photos in this section of the page were taken on September 17, 2004, at Downtown Alive! in Lafayette and at Festivals Acadiens' Festival de Musique Acadienne September 19, 2004. Kevin Wimmer, shown in the left column on twin fiddles with Courtney Granger, is now also playing and touring with The Red Stick Ramblers and he also is a member of Racines.  He is pictured below with Mitch Reed, now with BeauSoleil and also a member of Racines.

Meanwhile, Dirk Powell is busy with a variety of projects. He tours the country playing old style Appalachian music with the Dirk Powell Band.  His most recent album is Time Again, released in February 2004 by Rounder Records. He performed on banjo, fiddle, and bass guitar with Loretta Lynn on the album Van Lear Rose, which won a 2005 Grammy for Best Country Album.  He was musical advisor for the movie Cold Mountain and performed on the movie soundtrack, which received a 2005 Grammy nomination for the musical compilation produced by T. Bone Burnett. Meanwhile, Powell has been writing the score for filmmaker Joseph Castille's Evangeline: A True Love Story, an updated movie version of the legendary story told in Longfellow's poem. Powell also continues to produce recordings in his Cypress House Studios in Parks next to his home.
