Click for a list of daytime and evening technical courses offered spring 2006.

The LSUE Division of Business and Technology offers an integrated sequence of curricula in the field of medical and health services and in the field of environmental health and safety technology, and in the field of crime scene investigation.

Students who complete a technical competency area may apply those credits toward a certificate of technical studies, and students earning a technical certificate may apply the certificate toward a technical diploma.

The technical programs are composed only of technical courses and do not include general education courses that are required in associate degree and other certificate programs. However, courses completed in technical diploma, certificate, and competency area programs may be applied toward associate degrees and certificates.

In addition to course offerings on the LSUE campus and at off-campus locations in the tri-parish area, courses are also scheduled in Alexandria. In cooperation with the Louisiana Board of Regents and as a consortium member with sister colleges and universities around Louisiana, LSUE offers technical courses at the Regents’ Learning Center of Rapides Parish at England Air Park in Alexandria.  These courses lead to technical competency area certificates, certificates of technical study, technical diplomas, or associate degrees.  Currently, LSUE offers course clusters at the LCRP in Medical and Health Services, Environmental Health and Safety Technology, and Crime Scene Management. Click on the LSUE logo at the LCRP web site for the current offerings.
