Technical
Programs
in Environmental Health and Safety Technology
As a result of a growing awareness of environmental hazards and the
need to comply with governmental regulation of environmental issues,
many businesses and industries need workers who have technical
expertise in environmental health. Workers are also needed to help
address safety issues and prevent accidents or other problems that
can cause injuries and cost money. To help meet these employment
needs, the Division of Business and Technology offers a diploma, a
certificate, and two technical competency areas in the environmental
health and safety technology field.
Technical Diploma in Quality Environmental Health and Safety
Leadership
Students may enroll in the Technical Diploma Program in Quality and
Environmental Health and Safety Leadership after completing the
Certificate Program in Environmental Health and Safety Technology.
The diploma focuses on acquiring research, management and leadership
skills.
