Pharmacy Technician Exam Preparatory Course
This course helps prepare and direct those interested in becoming pharmacy technicians to acquire knowledge and skills needed to pass the National Pharmacy Technicians Exam (PTCB Exam, aka P-Tech Exam). This is a certification exam preparatory course.
Three focuses of the course:
Pharmaceutical math
Drug and medical terminology
Relationships of drugs to bodily systems
A student who successfully completes this course with mastery will be able to …
Calculate prescription pricing, calculate drug dosages, and perform allegation calculations relative to pharmacy practice.
Decipher and interpret prescriptions orders in various pharmacy practice settings.
Identify drug names by brand and generic names for the top 200 drugs and according to drug class and use.
This course prepares students for the PTCB Exam, which they take on their own. Once they pass the exam and work 600 hours at a certified pharmacy, they may apply to become a Certified Pharmacy Technician.

Forty-Hour Private Investigation Preparatory Course
Private Investigation 40 Hour Preparatory Course will consist of classroom instruction, hands-on training and simulation for becoming a Licensed Private Investigator in the State of Louisiana. The last day of the class will consist of the State Exam that will allow you to apply to the State Board of Private Investigator Examiners for a private investigation license. The instructor is a licensed private investigator, and you will gain knowledge of the law and how it applies to private investigators; you will learn about videotaping and photography, covert and overt operations - including equipment used in the trade - report writing, conducting surveillance, and tricks and tips of the trade used nationally by other private investigators.

Quickbooks Accounting
Students will learn essential elements of Quickbooks using a tutorial format with textbook. The textbook also comes with a CD for home computer use. At the end of this course, the student will be able to
Customize Quickbooks and the Chart of Accounts for a company.
Create invoices and pay bills.
Reconcile bank statements using Quickbooks.
Pay employees, payroll taxes and file payroll reports using Quickbooks.
