Notary Preparation Class

In this course you will be given a specific review of the subjects tested on the Notary Exam using the 2009 Edition of Louisiana Civil Code (LCC) which is a 2-volume publication by Thomson/West, edited by A.N. Yiannopoulos.
Saturdays, October 3 - November 21. 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
No class on November 14.

Casualty Insurance Pre-Licensing

Each course offers the thirty-two (32) hours of Property & Casualty instruction suitable to prepare an individual to take the state insurance exams. The class material is designed to prepare the student for the exam and to provide a good education for a career in insurance. Topics include basic terminology, concepts, sales, the fundamentals of insurance law, and agent's responsibility. The course cost including the textbook is $200 per person.

  • Section E: Fridays and Saturdays, September 18 - September 26. 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Section F: Fridays and Saturdays, November 13 - November 21. 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Life & Health Insurance Pre-Licensing

Each course offers the thirty-two (32) hours of Life & Health class instruction suitable to prepare an individual to take the state insurance exams. The class material is designed to prepare the student for the exam and to provide a good education for a career in insurance. Topics include basic terminology, concepts, sales, the fundamentals of insurance law, and agent's responsibility.

ServSafe Food Safety Certification Prep and Exam

This certification is necessary for restaurants, institutional cafeterias, and any organization that serves food to the public.
Saturday, October 3. 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
